The exam of this course will consist of questions about the papers that are mentioned below.

This will be an 'open book exam', and you are allowed to use the lecture sheets and the papers, which you should bring with you to the exam.

You must also bring pens and pencils, since you may be asked to draw some diagrams.

In the exam, you will be asked to relate your ontology knowledge and insights to the contents of the papers. The questions of this exam have been designed to assess whether you can explain the ontology concepts, and reflect and critically discuss them in the context of an application. Therefore, you should answer the question so that these aspects can be assessed, which means that you should answer the questions in your own words and in sufficient detail. Text literally copied from the book, the papers or the sheets, or too brief will be ignored for marking.

Don't forget: the teachers already know these ontology-related concepts, and will ask you questions to assess whether you know them too!

To prepare for the exam we suggest that you study all three papers carefully, looking for additional information whenever you come across some concept or term that you don't know or understand. I also recommend that you review the lecture notes and study the book suggested for this course, or other similar reference.
